Most face paints can be cleaned with soap & water. For alcohol-based paints (used during hot weather), can be removed with baby oil or coconut oil, followed by soap & water.
When I sweat, will the face paint drip off, or is it water-proof?
Since most face paints are water-activated, the paint will come off if you get it sweaty or wet. If event is water-party, or will be in hot weather conditions, then please request alcohol-based paints. These are more water resistant, and recommended.
Will face paint discolor your hair?
No, and any residual will wash out with shampoo.
Are face paints safe?
Yes, as long as the right kind of product which is cosmetic grade and FDA compliant. I am a professional and properly trained to apply face paint safely. Professionals should not use acrylic paints, tempera paint or markers.
